Marvin

Marvin was able to gain permanent residency in the United States (green card) based on "Cancellation of Removal." "Cancellation of Removal" was possible because Marvin has been in the United States for ten (10) years and his deportation to Guatemala would cause exceptional and extremely unusual hardship to a United States citizen or Permanent Resident relative. In Marvin's case, his son, born in the United States, suffers from a severe eye condition that would have been difficult to treat in Guatemala.
